inthinc Names Driving Safety and Telematics Industry Veteran to Lead Worldwide Sales
SALT LAKE CITY - Nov. 4, 2010 - inthinc Technology Solutions Inc., a global company centered on telematics, fleet management and driving safety solutions, today announced it has appointed Peter Winston Allen as senior vice president of global sales. In this role, Allen will be responsible for all aspects of inthinc's worldwide sales activities.

Allen has more than 22 years of experience in directing sales, including 18 years in the telematics industry - being involved with pioneering one of the first electronic hours of service solutions from Cadec in 1992. He joins inthinc from GreenRoad Technologies where he served as the company's general manager of North America and was instrumental in building a dynamic driving behavior service resulting in year over year increases in revenues. Prior to that he was with XATA Corporation as the vice president of national accounts where he developed a strategic sales process and training program, which resulted in more than 50 percent revenue growth in one year.
